Quinonez (17-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) won a first-round technical knockout (TKO) over Khalid Taha (13-5 MMA, 1-4 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 209. This fight was the night’s second preliminary contest on the promotion’s debut French card, held in Paris on Saturday.

Quinonez and Taha fought on the feet for a while before Quinonez knocked Taha out with a flurry of punches at 3:15 of the first round. Taha was initially knocked out by a counter right hand. He stumbled forward and landed on his back on the floor, then quickly readjusted. Although, it was irrelevant. Taha dove for cover, but Quinonez followed and landed a few more punches.
