Sam Alvey is still getting hammered by life’s setbacks.
As a consequence of his TKO loss to Michal Oleksiejczuk, Alvey (33-18-1 MMA; 10-13-1 UFC) shattered the record for the longest winless streak of any UFC competitor. Moreover, Alvey suffered a broken jaw.
This wasn’t Alvey’s first time breaking his jaw in the UFC on ESPN 40.
In preparation for his fight with Daniel Sarafian at UFC Fight Night 82, Alvey was kicked in the face by Sean Strickland in 2015.
Alvey’s final UFC fight took place on Saturday.
