Nazim Sadykhov is interested in competing on the same UFC 281 event as Matt Frevola, who is a member of the Longo-Weidman MMA organization.
At Dana White’s Contender Series 50 on Tuesday, Sadykhov (7-1), who finished Ahmad Hassanzada in the third round, won a contract to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
“That’s Matt Frevola back there. He’s on MSG. Throw me in MSG with him over there,” Sadykhov told reporters. “November, let’s get it.”
He added, “I’m not gonna do these callouts yet, but trust me, I’m gonna cause a sh*t storm.”
Sadykhov, who has won all but one of his professional fights via finish, was not fully pleased with his performance, but he is certain that he accomplished what was necessary to impress the higher-ups at the UFC.
“I feel like I let some mistakes happen, but overall, I got what I wanted,” Sadykhov said. “I got my finish. That’s what they want on Contender’s, that’s what they want in the UFC, that’s what I want. So, yes, there’s things I can say I can improve on or work on or not make those mistakes, but I got my finish.”
