UFC 281 takes place on November 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York, and it is there that McCann will face rising star Erin Blanchfield in a women’s flyweight contest.
The fight has not been officially confirmed by the UFC.
Since both of her knockouts in 2022 occurred in front of boisterous fans at London’s The O2, the British boxer’s star has skyrocketed.
This will be her sixth trip to the United States, and she has a 3-1 record there (her lone loss being a unanimous decision against Lara Procópio at UFC Fight Night 184 in Las Vegas).
At 23 years old, Blanchfield has gone on to win six consecutive bouts, including her first three in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
