The “Ultimate Fighter, Season 30” heavyweight title was won by Mohammed Usman by unanimous decision against Zac Pauga in the UFC on ESPN 40 main event.
The Usman vs. Pauga fight took place in Las Vegas on Saturday, and Usman won through unanimous decision (8-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC). In a single strike, Pauga was knocked unconscious. Usman’s diving follow-up punch at 0:36 of Round 2 clinched the deal.
Usman, the “TUF 30” heavyweight champion, has proven himself. He defeated Mitchell Sipe and Eduardo Perez in the reality show’s shooting. He is 5-1 in his previous six amateur contests. His UFC contract is worth $6 million.
Kamaru Usman, UFC welterweight champion and Usman’s younger brother, was in his corner on Saturday.
The Usmans are the first set of siblings to triumph in The Ultimate Fighter.
