This Bellator welterweight’s first fight for the company ended in one of the most unusual ways ever seen in 2022. In the main event of Bellator 285, held at 3Arena in Dublin, Poclit (8-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) put to sleep Dante Schiro (94 MMA, 1-2 BMMA) with an unconventional choke.
Some have even questioned the motivation behind the choke after seeing the events unfold in real time. As Poclit claims, they had no such luck.
“Yeah, I know, I practice it every day in the gym, this submission,” Poclit said.
“I practice. My coach knows this submission, John Kavanaugh.”
