Johnny Walker was no match for Jamahal Hill.
“Sweet Dreams” was Hill’s nickname when he faced Walker in his first UFC big event in February.
As soon as he was commanded to stay long, Walker sprang with a body kick and a leg kick. An argument broke out in the pocket when Walker spun around.
After stalking Walker for three minutes, Hill hit him with an overhand right. Despite Walker’s delayed reaction to the fall, he was already dead when he reached the ground.
Thiago Santos (22-10 MMA, 14-9 UFC) will face Hill (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in the main event of UFC on ESPN 40 in Las Vegas. The card will be shown on ESPN and ESPN+.
