John Dodson made his promotional debut at BKFC 28 this past August, months after signing with the promotion, and promptly knocked out Ryan Benoit in the first round. According to the New Mexico Department of Regulation and Licensing, the UFC veteran’s $75,000 payout was the largest of the night (NMRLD).
Christina Ferea, the flyweight champion, received the second highest prize after knocking out Taylor Staring in the main event in 47 seconds. Misfit’s first defense netted her $22,500. At BKFC: KnuckleMania 2, she defeated Britain Hart-Beltrain through unanimous decision to win the inaugural flyweight championship.
