Kamaru Usman has doubts about Conor McGregor’s desire to return to the UFC octagon.
Usman said on the “I Am Athlete” podcast that he’s not necessarily done, but he’s done as a champion. In July of 2021, McGregor was knocked out by Dustin Poirier via TKO after hurting his leg.
UFC 278 takes place on August 20 and features Usman vs. Leon Edwards in the co-main event.
However, Usman is open to a battle with Conor McGregor, but doubts that the Irish superstar will accept it.
