Michael Bisping believes Anderson Silva would have beaten Georges St-Pierre in the superfight everyone wanted to witness.
Former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre, who held the middleweight and welterweight titles, are largely regarded as the best MMA fighters of all time.
A violent fight with Anderson Silva in 2016 put Bisping up for his first championship challenge, which he won by the narrowest of margins.
At middleweight, Bisping is more inclined to side with “The Spider” against St-Pierre.
When it comes to middleweight fights between 2009 and 2012, Anderson Silva was Bisping’s choice, he revealed on his YouTube channel. There’s no doubt in Michael Bisping’s mind that this would have been a very tight match.
It’s possible Anderson might have done it in his prime.
The victory over Bisping was St-Pierre’s final MMA bout.
