DALLAS – Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. was scrapped in the midst of UFC 277, but Dana White won’t brag about it.
White thinks even Nakisa Bidarian, the former UFC CFO who acts as Jake Paul’s advisor and is the owner of Most Valuable Promotions, can’t pull it off.
It was supposed to take place on August 6th.
It was announced Saturday that the fight had been canceled after Rahman lied about his weight reduction and requested that the contest be switched from 200 pounds to 2015 pounds, according to a release from Most Valuable Promotions.
UFC on ESPN 40 will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas next week.
