LAS VEGAS – Dana White believes that Paddy Pimblett has what it takes to be a UFC star.
After only three appearances in the octagon, Pimblett (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has already established himself as a prominent figure in the sport, most recently by submitting Jordan Leavitt in the second round of their lightweight encounter at UFC Fight Night 208 this past weekend.
The sport’s biggest star, former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor, was likened to “The Baddy” by White.
After his most recent victory, Pimblett stated that he’s ready to go on to the next phase of his career and leave the UFC.
When asked whether this should be the next step, White agreed and intimated that it may happen by the end of 2022.
