While White earlier praised Paul for accepting “a real fight” against a fighter who could maybe beat him, he has now disregarded the YouTuber’s planned boxing showdown with Anderson Silva.
White asked the media to stop asking him questions about Paul because he is uninterested in the former YouTube star’s life outside of the UFC as a boxer.
“I don’t care about that. I literally was saying the other day, everybody keeps asking me about Jake. This guy’s not even in my sport!!” White said.
“I don’t care.”
Almost having to cancel UFC 279 due to Khamzat Chimaev not making weight, White had his hands full. The main event will feature Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson, and the co-main event will feature Khamzat Chimaev and Kevin Holland.
