After a successful MMA career and an LFA championship, Josh Silveira made his PFL debut this year.
The LFA middleweight title goes to Silveira in 2021. Even though he only fought one in the PFL in 2022, he was able to knock out Marthin Hamlet early on.
Antonio Carlos Jr. was knocked out of the playoffs despite the 6 points he had. In New York City on Friday, Omari Akhmedov (23-7-1) takes on Silveira (9-0). If he wins, he will go to the $1 million final.
When it comes to MMA, Silveira’s early successes shouldn’t come as any kind of surprise. Two UFC fights were held by his father and coach, Conan Silveira, in 1997.
