The rising British star, Pimblett (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC), will be fighting Gordon (19-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in a lightweight encounter at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 10. This will be Pimblett’s first fight on a numbered card in his promotional career.

For almost a year, both 27-year-old Pimblett and 34-year-old Gordon have made no secret of their desire to fight one another. Actually happening didn’t happen till now.

With three consecutive stoppage victories since his UFC debut in September 2021, Pimblett has rapidly established himself as a force to be reckoned with inside the octagon. Previously, the former Cage Warriors champion had participated in July at UFC Fight Night 208 in his home country of England, where he won through submission in the second round against Jordan Leavitt.

Gordon, a veteran of five fights who has won four by decision, will be looking to derail Pimblett with his grinding grappling style. Both Charles Oliveira and Grant Dawson have been responsible for Gordon’s two defeats during the past four years.
