Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz were scheduled to fight in the main event, but Chimaev missed weight and now there is discussion of a major lineup change. New odds for a potential fight between Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson were quickly calculated by online gambling site Sportsbetting.ag.
There is a -157 betting spread in favor of Ferguson, with Diaz coming back at +137. This website also specifies that the match must take place at UFC 279 to count.
Ferguson was supposed to fight Li Jingliang, with Tony being a huge underdog at +255 and Jingliang being a heavy favorite at -305. As of this writing, the fight schedule has not been finalized; however, we will be releasing betting lines for the confirmed roster first thing in the morning on Friday.
